In March of 2015 Neighbors Fair was issued a construction permit by the FCC entitling it to proceed with the construction of an LP radio station with the call sign KYWS-LP.

Neighbors Fair Community Radio as envisioned is defined by certain common characteristics that it will share with other similar stations such as educational, local based and non-commercial programming format.

The station depends on the support of the community it serves, local control, and programming that unique to our area, which distinguish it as a community radio station.
